I acquired my J.D. while raising two teenagers and ending up graduating law school the same spring my oldest daughter graduated from high school. I was a Recipient of a first-year full scholarship.

When I began my journey to become an attorney, I would commute 40 miles to Hays, KS with my daughters riding along with me.

Representing clients in the areas of divorce, consumer & commercial bankruptcy, business, collection, landlord tenant, contracts, corporation, real estate law, mediation, and guardian ad litem. I have successfully argued before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and have prevailed in two actions before the United States Supreme Court. I am currently sponsoring legislation with my paralegal, Alyssa Bradford, to amend the Kansas Protection from Abuse Act.
